The project's creative directive tasked us with constructing a prototype for an app aimed at addressing a prevalent daily inconvenience. I tackled the issue of finding a suitable tattoo artist or shop in an effective and efficient manner, while also allowing users to refine their preferences. I completed comprehensive research to establish the target demographic, then followed up with affinity diagramming after conducting interviews with said target demographic.

The decision to focus on this concept was driven by the absence of a practical solution for locating a tattoo artist nearby while also aligning with personal preferences. The available choices are limited to search engines like Google, yielding results primarily based on location and SEO factors, overlooking the nuances of one's style preferences. With no effective solution currently in place, users who once anticipated an exciting artist-finding process are left disappointed and frustrated. My goal was to make an app that helps you find an artist quickly and makes the search process fun again.​
