AmeriHealth Caritas Mobile App Redesign Case Study

An ongoing collaborative mobile app redesign project completed as part of my master’s degree program alongside my cohort. The team is currently conducting stakeholder research, defining user needs, prototyping concepts, and dividing project responsibilities throughout the design process. My primary role within the project is leading the upcoming UI design and visual interface direction.

Currently

Researching and Prototyping as of May 2026

Duration

12 weeks

Tools

Figma

The Problem

The current mobile app lacks intuitive navigation, does not meet AA accessibility standards, and has low user engagement due to limited awareness, unclear functionality, and an inconsistent overall experience.

The Approach

Our cohort is analyzing user research provided by the company alongside stakeholder interviews to better understand both organizational goals and user needs while prototyping potential design solutions.

The Solution

The redesign aims to deliver a more intuitive mobile experience that meets AA accessibility standards while creating a scalable design system that can support future expansion across their digital ecosystem.
